Mist Collection

Welding Fume Extractors

Mist collectors are specifically designed to capture liquid aerosols (oil, coolant mist) from CNC machining and other "wet" applications, while dust collectors handle solid particles (wood dust, metal dust, powders). The filtration technology is completely different:

MIST COLLECTORS:

• Use coalescing filters or depth-loading media, electronic filters, or centrifugal drums

• Capture sub-micron liquid droplets

• Deal with wet, sticky, oily contaminants

DUST COLLECTORS:

• Use cartridge or baghouse filters

• Capture dry solid particles

• Can use pulse-cleaning systems

Using the wrong type will fail to solve your problem, waste money, and, quite frankly, can be dangerous or deadly.
